A new King is here!!!
The new 986 Game King made its first appearance to the public at the Auckland On-Water Boat Show and was welcomed with open arms and well received.
The 986 Game King has been designed in two beam configurations. There is a narrow body model with a 3.08m beam and a wide body model with a massive 3.22m beam. The main reason for this is to give clients the ability to have a model that can be permanently on the water in a marina or in the waterways or live on a trailer.
With a 986 Game King build there is plenty of space to configure the interior how it would best suit personal on water requirements with plenty of scope to design seating and forward cabin configurations to suit.
A spacious walk-in shower/ toilet cubicle can be incorporated in the forward cabin on the Port side or out in the cockpit, and there is the option of having a forward cabin vanity with sink for washing up in the forward cabin on the Starboard side.
Four adults can sleep in utmost comfort on the 986 if required. The forward cabin has a very comfortable double berth with the ability to have an additional bunk above on the Port side also. A comfortable U-shaped settee in the main cabin has a drop-down table which can be lowered to create another large berth for a fourth person when the squab infills are in place.
There is plenty of storage on offer in the new 986 with the main double berth being on gas struts with storage below, plenty of top entry storage below the squabs on the U shaped setee, an option to have four large drawers in the Starboard seating module as well as two fridges and underfloor storage in the main cabin and cockpit areas.
The 986 offers amazing vision with expansive sliding side windows, curved glass in the forward three-piece windscreen, and a bi folding door on offer for the wheelhouse wall with manual and electric drop-down window options.
The 986 can be powered by an inboard diesel, twin outboards or one large single outboard, and the interior can be upgraded to luxurious finish or kept to a more basic finish if required.
With 860L of fuel below deck and plenty of comfort on offer there is no hurry to return to land in the new 986 Game King!
