"Back to the basics" with the entry level 560 Game King

The 560 Game King has much the same DNA as the rest of the fleet - a self-flooding keel for stability at rest, reverse chines to keep it dry and predictable, minimum plate thickness of 4mm with 5mm bottom skins and transom plate, large underfloor buoyancy chambers, and all round excellent sea handling ability. To keep costs down the 560 Game King has been designed with simplicity in mind. An open forward cabin with two large storage shelves, full width footrest to stop gear sliding back, hanging dash with room for up to a 16-inch screen, and a enclosed transom with three SoPac hatches for battery storage and rigging components.

The standard finish on the 560 Game King is Nyalic, with paint options available as an extra for those wishing to add more colour to the boat. To keep the weight and costs down there are no bulkheads leading into the cabin, forward cabin vee berth, and the hard top is single skinned with bracing to hold it rigid and strong. With this lighter boat we have managed to keep the weight down to around 1400kg based on a standard specification package (dry) including the outboard and single axle trailer. This means a 115-130HP outboard pushes it along nicely and with a 90L fuel tank below deck offers plenty of range for most day trips.

Who will this boat suit? The new 560 Game King is the perfect entry level hard top or general "workhorse" for a wide range of boatie's. The open layout and stability makes it a great platform to dive/ free-dive out of with plenty of room to stash bulkier items such as dive bags/fins/dive bottles etc with the open forward cabin and large underfloor fish bin. For the family boatie's, this is a easy to manage boat and great all-rounder equally suited to a day out fishing, or a day on the lake for watersports with a towing lug on the hard top for pulling the family around on water ski's/wakeboards etc. The 560 Game King will also suit the hard core fisho's looking for a simple layout that is more than capable of strapping outriggers onto the pillars and towing lures in search of the pelagic species that come to visit. In short - the 560 Game King is a very capable, all-round workhorse which is well priced and the perfect entry into the Extreme Boats family.
